A total of 95 owners voted out of 143 owners who were eligible to vote. There were 9 owners ineligible to vote due to a balance on their respective account with HOA Accounting. Of the 9 owners ineligible to vote, 2 owners voted online through Election Buddy and their vote was not counted, but spoiled by Election Buddy. We had 1 owner abstain from voting online, but registered in order to be counted for quorum percentage only. The governing documents for Blakewood HOA require a 35% quorum in any vote or election. We reached a 66.43% quorum on this matter. The “Yes” vote wins. If you have your bank draft your HOA dues, be sure to change the amount drafted for January 2024 to $105.00. If you have automatic draft with HOA Accounting, the increase in dues will be automatically be applied and deducted from your bank account beginning January of 2024. If you pay by any other means, make note of the increase to $105.00 per month effective January 1, 2024.
